Ferme Up Bui is a family-run joinery workshop located at 12 Quai Saint-Antoine in the heart of Lyon's Presqu'île. For over twenty years we have been crafting bespoke woodwork for private clients, interior designers and heritage restorers across the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
Our Philosophy
We believe that fine joinery should last generations. Every joint is cut by hand, every surface is sanded and finished in our workshop before installation. We work exclusively with solid hardwoods and traditional techniques — mortise and tenon, dovetail, tongue and groove — combined with modern precision where it serves the design.
The Workshop
Our atelier overlooks the Saône river, occupying a converted 19th-century warehouse. Visitors are welcome by appointment to discuss projects, select timber samples and review progress on commissioned pieces. All work is carried out on-site in Lyon — we never outsource production.
Certifications
Ferme Up Bui holds Qualibat certification for interior woodwork and is a member of the Chambre de Métiers et de l'Artisanat du Rhône. Our timber suppliers are PEFC-certified.
