These Terms and Conditions govern the use of fermeupbui.buzz and the purchase of joinery services from Ferme Up Bui, 12 Quai Saint-Antoine, 69002 Lyon, France.
1. Services
Ferme Up Bui provides custom joinery including bespoke furniture, cabinetry, doors, windows and restoration work. All services are subject to a written quotation accepted by the client.
2. Quotations & Pricing
- All prices quoted on this website and in our proposals are in EUR (€) and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
- Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- Guide prices on the website are indicative; final pricing is confirmed in your individual quotation.
3. Orders & Payment
- A deposit of 40% is required upon order confirmation.
- A further 40% is due upon commencement of manufacture.
- The remaining 20% is due upon completion of installation.
- Payment accepted by bank transfer and cheque. Credit cards accepted for deposits over €500.
4. Delivery & Installation
Lead times are estimated at quotation stage, typically 6–16 weeks. We will notify you of any delays. Installation is included unless otherwise stated. The client must ensure access to the property and that the installation area is prepared.
5. Guarantee
All workmanship is guaranteed for 5 years from the date of installation. This covers structural defects and joint failure but excludes damage from misuse, moisture ingress due to building defects, or normal wear. Timber is a natural material; minor movement and colour change are not covered.
6. Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled within 14 days of confirmation (cooling-off period) provided manufacture has not commenced. After manufacture begins, deposits are non-refundable. Custom-made goods are exempt from the standard 14-day return right under French consumer law (Code de la consommation, Art. L221-28).
7. Website Use

8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lyon, France.
